š See how busy homebuyers are ahead of the election
Sellers pumped the brakes on new listings last week making it one of the rare weeks when more homes went pending than hit the market. It is a little surprising to see so many homes going pending given mortgage rates jumped from the low 6s to the low 7s. Though weāve long felt it is savvy to buy in November and December when buyers are typically in the driverās seat and you can beat the rush we always see at the beginning of a new year.
How is tomorrowās election going to impact rates? In the long-term no one knows, but Mortgage News Daily has a prediction for what weāll see in the short term.
